Adventures Outside the Box

Adventures Outside the Box's mission is to provide structured, goal-oriented learning opportunities for adolescents with Asperger Syndrome and related disorders. Our adventure programming offers unique opportunities to expand social thinking, self awareness and life skills through direct instruction and supportive practice in the community, both local and beyond. We believe that life is inherently unpredictable. Learning to expect the unexpected is a critical life skill, and managing novel experiences, while challenging for some, can be gratifying. We hope to teach our students that getting "Outside the Box" can be a rewarding Adventure.
