Autism Behavior Consultants (ABC) is an agency specializing in the treatment of autism and related developmental disorder using discrete trial training (DTT). Based upon the work of Dr. Ivar Lovaas, of UCLA, behavior therapy or Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is a methodology used to maximize learning for children within the Autism spectrum. ABA consists of two basic components, teaching, utilizing discrete trial training and behavior modification. Research has shown that the most appropriate education for children with autism includes early, intensive behavior therapy.
