Autism Support and Advocacy in Pennsylvania

Autism Support and Advocacy in Pennsylvania was launched in 1988 to work toward the full inclusion of Pennsylvania's citizens with autism in all aspects of our society, and to approach these issues from the perspective of citizenship and social justice. It is the belief of ASAP that attitudes towards people with autism are undergoing a profound change as we learn better ways to hear and respect their communication. We wish to encourage the growing appreciation of their competence and the recognition of their needs for new choices which will give meaning and richness to their lives.
