The Canine Companions for Independence team programs are the educational programs in which people with disabilities, or individuals who work with people with disabilities, are partnered with assistance dog team leaders who can successfully manage and utilize these highly trained dogs. These concepts and handling skills are taught in CCI's two week Team Training classes which are conducted at CCI's regional training centers.
