Caring Communities trains respite care providers and maintains a respite care provider registry which includes trained individuals from throughout the State of Maryland. Caring Communities does basic background information checks, but the responsibility lies with the family to interview and hire a respite care provider. Also has excellent "About Our Family" Respite Workbook to help families document information about their child.
