Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Division of Neurology

The Division of Neurology offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a complete spectrum of childhood neurological and neuromuscular problems, involving the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord) or the peripheral nervous system (nerves, muscles and their connections). A major focus is the medical and surgical control of epilepsy. Each of our experienced pediatric neurologists is involved in the care of children with seizures. Our staff works closely with families to ensure a continuum of care at home.

The Division is actively engaged in the teaching of residents, medical students and hospital staff. Our physician-scientists conduct research into new drug and surgical treatments and publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals. We further assist in disseminating new knowledge in the field through participation in key national associations.
