We have had our child evaluated by several people. All who clearly agree he does'nt interact with peers, only repeats phrases instead of actually communicating, spins, and engages in other self-stim activities but we have no formal diagnosis. When I called Dr.Castro's office with some questions the receptionist could not answer, Dr.Castro talked to me on the phone. He seemed well qualified to say the least. I can say with certainty the I talked with him on the phone longer than I have talked face to face with any other practitioner we have been to (we have been to at least 7). A Dr. who actually listens and cares and can provide austism treatment is something we have been unable to find thus far. I am thrilled to have an appointment and will post again after our consultation. He told me the first consult will take a few hours! Much better that the 15 minutes we usually get!
