Dr. Murakawa is a fantastic psychologist who is patient and kind not only to the children she is evaluating but also to the parents who are emotional and stressed out. I had brought my son to several different psychologists, neurologists and clinical social workers, all of whom quite their practice while in the middle of the evaluation, or had lack of patience with my son. Dr. Murakawa was a God send! She did a very thorough evaluation in an atmosphere that was very comfortable. She allowed me to be in the room so that my son would be more comfortable. She wrote very specific goals and recommendations for the school to follow and above all else, she was gentle with my son and never once judged me as a parent. My son is now 11 years old and was diagnosed with autism by Dr. Murakawa years ago. I am eternally greatful to her for her kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend her!
