Georgia Aspergers Organization

Georgia Asperger's Organization is located in Winder, GA and functions as a parent led organization serving person's and families of Asperger's or HFA (High Functioning Autism).
We provide advocacy support, parent mentoring skills, and resources. Our mission is strengthening families and bridging them together through building healthy relationships with schools, local businesses, and faith based organization's.
We host monthly support groups, training work shops, and educational seminars to better equip, empower, educate and encourage our youth and young adults.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00 -8:30 pm at Barrow Regional Medical Center, located at 316 North Broad Street, in Winder, Ga 30680.
During the time that our parents are meeting and networking, our youth and young adults will be connecting together by receiving and developing social, communication, and life skills through Role Play, Play Therapy, and Social Skills Curriculum’s.
