Kids Social Skills offers:
* A holistic approach that combines behavior modification with a commitment to respect and meeting the emotional needs of each child as well as the values of the family.
* An approach that sees practice in real life situations as a crucial component of progress, growth, and success.
* Experience with teaching social skills to children, in various settings.
* Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (Occupational Therapists, Speech therapist, Teachers, and Psychiatrists)

Learning strategies:

* Breaking down a skill into smaller units. Teaching each unit at a time, using child’s strengths.
* Playing pre-planned games and activities, tailored to meet the child’s needs. Working on the goals set with the parents.
* Role playing and modeling are frequently used.
* Teaching through successes, using positive reinforcements.
* Ongoing meetings with parents to review goals, strategies, and problem solving on a regular basis.
* Practice, practice, and some more practice.
