NYS Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities

To improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities in New York State, and beyond, and to protect their rights by: Ensuring and advancing programmatic and fiscal accountability within the State’s mental hygiene system through independent oversight; Providing case-specific and systemic investigative and advocacy services, and Offering impartial and informed advice and recommendations on disability issues to government officials, program operators, individuals with disabilities and their families and advocates, and the public-at-large.
