I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who is trained in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. My therapy team and I utilize these principles with children in order to enhance language skills, decrease undesirable behaviors, increase social skills, and improve functional abilities (to name just a few!). We have seen tremendous improvement with children who participate in the in-home/in-school therapy programs that we are able to implement. Our role in the therapy process includes: collaboration with other professionals (Teachers, Speech therapists, Occupational therapists, Physical therapists, etc.), family training, one-on-one therapists, and trainers of other individuals interested in using the ABA principles with your child. The number of therapy hours recommended per week is different for each child. After an initial evaluation is completed, we are able to determine what therapy frequency would be most beneficial for your child. Following the evaluation, a therapist will set up a therapy program that is individualized to fit your child�s needs and abilities.
