The Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older People

The Legal Center is committed to delivering the promise of the law to people with disabilities and older people in Colorado by using the legal system to protect and promote their rights through direct legal representation, advocacy, education and legislative analysis.

Founded in 1976, The Legal Center offers all of the federally-mandated Protection and Advocacy Programs for people with disabilities in Colorado, as well as The Client Assistance Program, the Long-term Care Ombudsman Program, and the Legal Assistance Developer Program for Older People.

We have offices in Denver and Grand Junction with attorneys and advocates specializing in disability and elder law. We give priority to providing services not available through any other organization and to people least able to advocate for themselves.
