University of Kansas Behavioral Pediatrics

The division is cognitive-behavioral in orientation with a focus on behavioral pediatrics. The pediatric psychologists emphasize the use of behavioral assessment techniques and empirically derived cognitive-behavioral treatment approaches. Emphasis is placed on the development and integration of behavioral and biomedical science and techniques to lower child mortality, reduce disability and morbidity and promote optimum physical , behavioral and emotional development.
