Cindy Waeltermann, President

Cindy is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a dual degree in Marketing/Communications and English Writing. She is a published writer and a former marketing/communications professional. She is the founder of the organization and the parent of two children with autism.
Inna Nill, MsEE, Secretary
Parent of two children on the autism spectrum
Inna is graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. She is currently employed as a computer programmer and has two children with autism.
Tom Swann, Esq
Parent of a child with autism
Tom Swann is the Deputy District Attorney for Allegheny County and the father of a child with autism. Mr. Swann has been employed with the District Attorney's office for many years and is well-respected as a prosecutor in Pittsburgh. Mr. Swan is also the author of a colletion of poems about autism spectrum disorders.
Parent of two children with autism
Dr. Wältermann obtained his PhD summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin in Psycholinguistics, Applied Linguistics, and Translation Studies. He also obtained a bachelor's degree at the University of Texas, El Paso in Linguistics, and degrees in Mathematics and Pedagogy at Abitur (summa cum laude), Fachoberschule der Bundeswehr at Münster, West Germany.
Dr. Wältermann also served as Unterrichtsdolmetscher (Certified Translator/Interpreter) [E-G, G-E], Defense Language Institute, German Air Force and United States Army and is a Certified Industrial Engineer, Berufs-/Fachschule Meppen/Germany.
He is currently a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh, is the President of his own translation company, and is the father of two children with autism.
Bill Davis
Bill Davis, Lancaster, PA, whose 14-year-old son, Christopher, has autism, is the author of Breaking Autism's Barriers, A Father's Story and Dangerous Encounters: Avoiding Perilous Situations with Autism. As the author of Dangerous Encounters: Avoiding Perilous Situations with Autism.
Davis speaks to groups, such as police and fire departments; EMT workers; and other community organizations about the disorder and how to keep those with autism safe. He was recently a keynote speaker for the 2007 Autism Society of America (ASA) Conference held at State College, PA. To his
credit, he was past president of the Harrisburg ASA, and recipient of Temple's "End the Victim's Silence" advocacy award. Bill resides in the Lancaster area.
Dr. Julie Wilczysnki, N.D.
Parent of a child with autism
Julie as been studying for many years in fields of naturopathy and natural health, the use of natural herbs, vitamin and mineral supplements and proper nutrition and exercise for obtaining and maintaining optimum health.
Julie is a Member of AANC, the American Association of Nutrition Consultants and spent several years as an On-Air personality on a local radio station. Her show, "Natural Health Today" focused on the promotion of healthy living through the use of natural herbs, supplements, exercise and pure water.
Julie is a Traditional Naturopath / Certified Nutritional Consultant / Counselor of Natural Health / Iridologist / Reiki Practitioner / Certified Personal Trainer / EFT and has one child with autism.
Angel Thompson
Parent of a child with autism
Angel is the Founder and Director of an AutismLink affiliate group, O.A.S.I.S. The first OASIS Chapter began and continues to reach families and professionals in Wooster, Ohio and its surrounding counties. Today there is another O.A.S.I.S. chapter located in Geneva, Ohio.
Angel has her BS is Psychology, MA in Missions and MA in Counseling from Grace College, Grace Theological Seminary and Grace College Graduate School in Counseling & Interpersonal Relations.
She is the parent of a child with autism.
