She does academic therapy with kids one-on-one, as well as small group teaching as home school enhancement with special needs students of all ages. Other services include: tutoring 4-adult, educational workshops, special education advisement and advocating, and social skills activities. Whether you're a child with an ASD, or an adult returning to school needing additional instruction, we're here to support you and your needs.

Access Point provides intensive behavioral intervention services to children with autism and closely related disorders. Our staff have extensive professional expertise and clinical training. Our expertise lies within Applied Behavior Analysis and using principles of behavior to guide interventions in discrete trial training, pivotal response training, PECS implementation, picture activity schedules, and positive behavioral support interventions. Jennifer Scoville is a certified AIT practitioner and educator. Sounds and Mind Processing schedules 10 consecutive day AIT sessions and Ms. Scoville works 1-1 with individuals who have issues with auditory processing, sensory integration, behavior, language and attention. Berard AIT is completed in 20 sessions. AIT is a passive listening program designed to help children and adults listen with increased efficiency and comfort in their daily lives. Interactive Metronome services are being added.

The Idaho Center for Autism is the only developmental disability agency in the Treasure Valley specializing in autism spectrum disorders. Each of our supervising therapists and program managers hold graduate degrees related to the treatment of ASD and have years of experience working with children on the spectrum.

The Department of Health and Welfare is organized into Regions to provide programs that foster a productive, healthful and independent quality of life for Idaho citizens. Statewide administrative offices are located in Boise. Each Region serves several counties.
