I have been working with children on the Autism Spectrum since 2002. During that time I have been trained in discrete trial, functional behavior analysis, TEACCH, PECS, floortime, am a credentialed early intervention developmental therapist, and am beginning RDI certification in May 2006. I am willing to provide in home services for any of the above services to families in the southwest Chicago suburbs.

This Center provides speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social language groups to children who have difficulty communicating. They specialize in the treatment of children with a Pervasive Developmental Disorder including autism and Asperger Syndrome. Sally Bligh developed the technique of the Social Language Groups and about 10 of these groups serving children of different ages meet weekly at the Center.

Brehm Preparatory School provides a comprehensive range of services, which include: instruction in core academic area; social skills development; lifestyles development; recreational therapy; cultural enrichment; career counseling and pre-vocational exploration. Speech and language therapy and psychological counseling are available on a contractual basis as needed.
