ABC'nD Enterprises is an educational consulting, training, therapy, and resource firm committed to enhancing the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder by developing and applying effective therapies, instructing parents and professionals, and working to enrich the children's home environments and relationships. We employ an eclectic and developmentally appropriate perspective based on research and using effective programs such as: Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped children (TEACCH), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Floor Time (Greenspan), and Conscious Discipline (Bailey).

Board Eligible Certified Behavior Analyst with 20 years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to individuals across the lifespan. Specializing in functional analysis of behavior, positive behavior support, ABA intervention.

Offers a residential school and children's therapy center, offering outpatient therapy services. Heartspring is a not-for-profit residential school that serves children with multiple disabilities within the ages 5-21 from across the country. A majority of students enrolled have mental retardation in some degree along with other disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, hearing and/or vision impairment or behavior disorders.

At Heartspring School, in conjunction to the sending school district or agency, we design each student's educational program based on the child's strengths, weaknesses and needs. The program is delivered through an integrated team approach involving the residential school, psychology, therapy and medical staff. With the active participation of parents and sending school district or agency, an IEP is developed based on the students needs.

Progress Listening Center helps children with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, or ADD/ADHD by offering EnListen, the newest patented program available to improve listening, auditory processing, and sensory integration. Developed by Sound Listening Corporation who is chaired by Dr. Billie Thompson, EnListen provides families an in-home choice once the initial evaluation is done. Dr. Thompson was the pioneer who brought Tomatis to the U.S. EnListen takes the benefits of Tomatis many steps further by improving Bone Conduction interference and increasing all processing of sounds necessary to produce word sounds, body coordination and receptive language.

We are a medical library which serves both clinical and consumer needs. We were given a donation by the Jasper Newton County Medical Alliance with which to purchase books on Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders. These materials may be checked out of the library for two weeks.

AUCD formerly UAP(University Affiliated Programs) are authorized by federal legislation to help States and local communities respond to the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families.(AUCDs) serve as a liaison between the academic world and the developmental disabilities service delivery system. AUCDs network with and provide assistance to State Agencies, their local affiliates, and to various nongovermental consumer-based organizations. Most AUCDs provide direct clinical, educational, and other services to individuals and families, or can assist families in finding services.
