BIFAC specializes in in-home programs based on the works and programming of Dr. Vincent Carbonne and Dr. Ivar Lovaas, supplemented by other developmentally appropriate techniques. We provide direct intervention for children ages 2 to 9. For children 10 and older, we offer consultation services but not direct interventions. These programs normally consist of between 20 and 40 hours of direct one-on-one intervention with a BIFAC interventionist. We also attend Admissions and Release Committee (ARC) meetings where we aid in the discussion of our clients' Individiual Education Programs (IEP) and any other type of meetings or appointments that relate to the child's treatment. In addition to directly providing services, we offer caregivers several resources which may be useful in aiding treatment as well. |
