We provide support,education,and resources for families who have autistic loved ones and also to the community.Free to attend to and opened to the public.We meet on the first and third Sundays of each month.We start at 2:00 pm and go until 4:00 pm.We meet in the board roomm on the third floor of the Mecosta County Medical Center(Hospital) located at 605 oak Street in Big Rapids.For further questions or information please email David and Bonnie Thorson at: michigan.autism.support.group@gmail.com we answer all emails within 48 hours from the time they were sent. Progress Listening Center helps children with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, or ADD/ADHD by offering EnListen, the newest patented program available to improve listening, auditory processing, and sensory integration. Developed by Sound Listening Corporation who is chaired by Dr. Billie Thompson, EnListen provides families an in-home choice once the initial evaluation is done. Dr. Thompson was the pioneer who brought Tomatis to the U.S. EnListen takes the benefits of Tomatis many steps further by improving Bone Conduction interference and increasing all processing of sounds necessary to produce word sounds, body coordination and receptive language.

Wesley School is a centralized Special Education Facility operated by Muskegon Area Intermediate School District. Wesley School provides life skills training to eligible special education students ages 0 - 26 years of age. Students come from the 12 local school districts that make up the MAISD.
