Advocacy.org provides social justice advocates with resources and guidance in the area of advocacy leadership development, and also introduces our programs and services. We're will be constantly updating our site with stories, resources and lessons learned in order to pass on what we've learned from advocates like you.

We are a network that advocates for community awareness, furthering research, better education and support of individuals and families living with Aspergers Syndrome. FEAT is a non-profit organization of parents, educators, and other professionals dedicated to providing world-class Education, Advocacy and Support for the Northern California Autism Community. This site provides information to parents of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders including Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), and Asperger’s Syndrome, and to professionals about FEAT, its goals, organization, and how FEAT can help families, as well as to provide information about other available resources.

Fraser Child & Family Center is a nationally renowned, specialized clinic providing comprehensive mental health services for children, adolescents, and their families. The Autism Society of Minnesota exists to enhance the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. AuSM seeks to realize its mission through education, support, collabration, and advocacy.

The Minnesota Disability Law Center addresses the unique legal needs of persons with disabilities. MDLC is designated as the state's protecction and advocacy system for persons with disabilities in Minnesota, and receives federal funds for that purpose. Services are provided at no cost to the individual. There are no income guidelines. The Protection and Advocacy (P&A) System are congressionally mandated, legally-based disability rights agencies. P&A agencies have the authority to provide legal representation and other advocacy services, under all federal and state laws, to all people with disabilities (based on a system of priorities for services). All P&As maintain a presence in facilities that care for people with disabilities, where they monitor, investigate and attempt to remedy adverse conditions. These agencies also devote considerable resources to ensuring full access to inclusive educational programs, financial entitlements, health care, accessible housing and productive employment opportunities.

The mission of the Minnesota Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities is to provide information, education, and training to build knowledge, develop skills, and change attitudes that will lead to increased independence, productivity, self determination, integration and inclusion (IPSII) for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
