The Minnesota Early Autism Project, Inc., is an in-home treatment program and clinic for young children with autism spectrum disorders based on the principles of Intensive Early Behavior Therapy. This approach is supported by controlled studies that have demonstrated IEBT produces lasting improvements in core symptoms of autism beyond the termination of therapy. It develops communicative speech and improved social relatedness in the majority of those treated. These procedures produce social interaction, communicative and cognitive abilities in 40% to 50% of children with autism that approach those of their typical peers (Sallows & Graupner, 2005). MEAP offers effective treatment with experienced leadership and carefully supervised therapy staff. If you would like to discuss beginning the process of obtaining treatment for your child or are interested in employment opportunities, please contact our office for more information.
