Aimee Roberts graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a bachelors degree in occupational therapy. She also earned a masters degree in occupational therapy with an emphasis in pediatrics and school-based therapy. Aimee has experience working in various settings including the public school system and private clinics. She specializes in working with children with sensory processing delays including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Aimee also has experience in evaluating and implementing assistive technology such as communication devices and powered mobility. She provides a wholistic approach to therapy which includes collaboration between families, schools and other health professionals.

Building Bridges, Inc. is a long-term therapeutic residential and educational adventure based program that uses adventure based trips as an adjunct learning tool to the daily therapy and education. A nationally recognized program created by Richard Solomon MD and based on the DIR theory of Stanley Greenspan MD. Our program is designed to teach parents play-based, intensive intervention techniques that are very successful in helping young children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) gain language and social skills.
