My name is Tiphani Slone and I am currently an ABA/VB Consultant/Therapist. I am proficient in Discrete Trial, Direct Instruction, Augmentation Communication and much more in order to provide the best teaching method for children with autism and have over 10 years experience in the field. I attend IEP meetings; provide inclusion, 1:1 therapy, group therapy, social activities and also behavioral intervention. I also provide staff(therapists), as well as train current staff. I am available in the Charlotte/Gastonia/Fort Mill and surrounding areas in NC. I work directly with parents and include them in the development of their child’s program. ASMC provides residential and community support services for people with Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury and other developmental disabilities. Residential services include group homes and Alternative Family Living (AFL). A full range of clinical supports are available when needed. These include Psychology, Speech and Language, Nursing, Dietary and Social Work. In the event of an emergency, supervisory and nursing staff are available 24-hours a day.

Easter Seals UCP North Carolina is a statewide non-profit organization that provides supports and services to over 15,000 North Carolina residents with disabilities and their families. Easter Seals UCP’s three major focus areas are Child and Family Services, Accessible Living and Employment.

This is a curriculum-based supportive program for parents who are struggling with a psychiatric disability. The program offers encouragement, support, advocacy, and parenting skill building (provided through the Families Facing Solutions curriculum). It also assists the families with coordination of services and provides linkages with alternate community programs that benefit all family members. The focus is on family strengths and preparing the family to face possible disruptions while remaining together.
