Bridgeway House is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization helping children and families by providing treatments, courses, and support to families and individuals affected by autism and related disabilities. This organization was created in 2002 by Patricia A. Wigney, a dedicated parent who traveled the Pacific Northwest in search of resources to help her autistic daughter. After four years of gathering information and resources she decided to assemble a group of parents and professionals to bring life altering services to one location in her community. The CDRC Autism Program provides services to children with established or suspected symptoms on the autism spectrum. We provide assessment, diagnoses, recommendations, treatment and ongoing consultation to the families we serve. Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities programs provide long-term, graduate level interdisciplinary training to health professionals . The purpose is to develop leadership potential to improve the health status of infants, children, and adolescents with or at risk for neurodevelopmental and related disabilities and to enhance the systems of care for these children and their families. The program focuses on health conditions of mental retardation, neurodegenerative and acquired neurological disorders and multiple handicaps. All LEND Programs operate within a university system and most have collaborative arrangements with local university hospitals, children's hospitals, and/or health care centers.
