Breakthrough was founded by a group of concerned parents of children with autism. It is chartered in Tennessee and approved as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. Breakthrough targets a launch of day program services to adults with autism in the first quarter of 2005 with additional services offered thereafter.
