The Autism Support Services: Education, Research, and Training (ASSERT) provides support to families of children with autism as well as educational professionals on how to implement behavioral interventions for children with autism that are based on principles of applied behavior analysis. ASSERT operates a model preschool classroom and provides consulting services to families and school districts throughout Utah and the surrounding region. Ed has over 20 years of teaching, clinical, and administrative experience in the field of special education. In addition to his public school teaching and administrative experience, he has worked for community mental health facilities as a clinician and consultant. Ed's experience is complemented by his parenting experience with six children and numerous foster children with special needs.
