Jennifer Scoville is a certified AIT practitioner and educator. Sounds and Mind Processing schedules 10 consecutive day AIT sessions and Ms. Scoville works 1-1 with individuals who have issues with auditory processing, sensory integration, behavior, language and attention. Berard AIT is completed in 20 sessions. AIT is a passive listening program designed to help children and adults listen with increased efficiency and comfort in their daily lives. Interactive Metronome services are being added.

At Autism ANSWERS our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families by providing high-quality, research-based home therapy and school-based programs, training, and community outreach in the Northwest region of the U.S.

we are a parent founded, biomedical support group. We have an on-line listserve for WA state parents who are engaged in or seeking to begin biomedical interventions for their children on the autism spectrum.In addition to biomedical discussion, we are working towards getting more medical professionals engaged in treatments that are helping our children recover, and strive to be a strong voice in national autism activism. There is no charge to be in our group.

Children's Communication Corner, Inc. provides individual diagnostic, treatment, and consultative services for children birth to adolesence with speech, language, language learing, motor speech, and social communication skills for children with a variety of special needs. We also provide social skills groups for children ages 3-12 which are co-taught by a Speech Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist to best meet our clients social needs.

The Speech and Language Services team assesses communication disorders. Our staff establishes relationships with schools and community resources. We assist families in locating appropriate services in the community. Every staff member holds a master's degree and is licensed by the state of Washington and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Each member is a recognized specialist in their areas of pediatric speech-language pathology. We offer communication methods for the unintelligible or non-speaking child.

Developmental Therapy Services works with many Children's Institute students, they also provide evaluation and therapy services to private clients who are not enrolled at CHILD. Referrals come from physicians, teachers, parents and other concerned individuals who work with children.

At CLASS, Inc., a team of highly trained professionals are dedicated to the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders, langauge delays, and speech delays. CLASS, Inc serves children 0-12 years of age. Our primary focus is on functional language development and communication skills, feeding skills, oral motor skills, the treatment of apraxia and other motor-speech disorders are addressed as needed. CLASS Inc. owns many sophistocated voice-output communication devices that allow children who are severely involved to try out alternative methods of communication in a supportive environment without large out-of-pocket expense. At CLASS, Inc., we believe that therapy must be fun as well as functional. To that end, our clinic has a wealth of fun activities including a gross motor room equiped with trampoline, swing and slides, an on staff music therapist, sensory pits and toys galore.

Progress Listening Center helps children with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, or ADD/ADHD by offering EnListen, the newest patented program available to improve listening, auditory processing, and sensory integration. Developed by Sound Listening Corporation who is chaired by Dr. Billie Thompson, EnListen provides families an in-home choice once the initial evaluation is done. Dr. Thompson was the pioneer who brought Tomatis to the U.S. EnListen takes the benefits of Tomatis many steps further by improving Bone Conduction interference and increasing all processing of sounds necessary to produce word sounds, body coordination and receptive language.

HANDLE® practitioners provide an effective, non-drug, award-winning therapy for neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADD/ADHD. The HANDLE approach, developed by Judith Bluestone (author of The Fabric of Autism) over more than 30 years of diagnosing and treating neurodevelopmental differences, is unique. Based on results of intensive assessment, clients are given a specific program of exercises, activities, and nutritional suggestions to implement at home. The goal: for each client to achieve functional outcomes. HANDLE programs have a significant effect on the brain itself (see July 2006 Journal of Neuroimaging.)
