Chinese Parents Association for the Disabled (CPAD) Is a non-profit organization dedicated to help individuals with special needs and their families (e.g. Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy… etc). All the parent members are volunteers , and strive to help each individual achieve his or her full potential toward a meaningful and productive life; to encourage opportunities of social integration, and social inclusion into mainstream society.

This is a collection of Internet and other resources which parents of children with PDD, PDD-NOS, autism, Asperger"s Syndrome, or hyperlexia may find useful. All the information concerns teaching methods that are a branch of applied behavior analysis (ABA) called behavioral intervention. This site contains a list of ABA providers all over the US and some international.

We offer state-of-the art ABA-based discrete trial (DTT) and natural environment training (NET) to children across the autism spectrum, ages 12 months to 8 years. Our goal is to help each child learn the language, play, social, daly living, and academic skills he or she needs to lead a happy and productive life, while reducing challenging behaviors such as tantrums and self-stimulatory behavior. We provide consultation and direct one-to-one skills training services to children living locally in North and West Los Angeles.
