Family Voices of Colorado is a chapter of the national, grassroots organization composed of families and friends who care for and about our children with special health care needs. Family leaders from around the nation organized Family Voices in December 1992. The primary goal of the organization is to ensure that our children's health is addressed amidst change in public and private health care systems. Currently, there are over 40,000 Family Voices members throughout the country. |

The Legal Center is committed to delivering the promise of the law to people with disabilities and older people in Colorado by using the legal system to protect and promote their rights through direct legal representation, advocacy, education and legislative analysis. Founded in 1976, The Legal Center offers all of the federally-mandated Protection and Advocacy Programs for people with disabilities in Colorado, as well as The Client Assistance Program, the Long-term Care Ombudsman Program, and the Legal Assistance Developer Program for Older People. We have offices in Denver and Grand Junction with attorneys and advocates specializing in disability and elder law. We give priority to providing services not available through any other organization and to people least able to advocate for themselves. |

The Legal Center is a non-profit organization that promotes and protects the rights of people with disabilities and older people in Colorado. The Legal Center employs attorneys, paralegals and advocates with expertise in disability law, elder law and civil rights protection. The Legal Center provides representation in issues of special education, fair housing, access to state or federally funded services, access to public accommodations, and protection from abuse and neglect as well as addressing complaints of residents of nursing homes and personal care boarding homes. Sliding scale based on income. Assistance in Spanish is available. |
