Early Childhood Connections for Infants, Toddlers and Families provides funding to local community groups across Colorado for the purpose of identifying and coordinating available resources to assist families with infants and toddlers to meet their needs. These federal funds assist local communities in improving and expanding the system of early intervention. Typically, this funding is used to support the work of an identified local Part C Coordinator and local interagency coordinating council, increase local service coordination capacity and involve parents in local system development to foster parent leadership. The local ECC offices throughout Colorado locally implement the requirements consistent with state and federal legislation. |
