We raise awareness in our community around Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) by supporting affected families, individuals and professionals touched by ASD. Through education and community service we assist in positive long-term outcomes and quality of life for ASD individuals. ASBC provides on-going community awareness, education and support by conducting a free lecture series and support group throughout the academic school year. Our Autism Faces & Voices program allows us to go into our community and conduct general awareness programs to educate society in general regarding Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as the needs and value the ASD population brings to our communities. ASBC also has a lending library of autism specific books for loan to our community to assist in their education. ASBC publishes a monthly e-Newsletter free of charge to its community that details events, legislative and general information on matters of concern to our community. |
