Serving the needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, their families, caregivers, and service providers throughout the state of Alaska via information, referral, training, and consultation. The Alaska Autism Resource Center (AARC) is a resource provided by the Special Education Service Agency (SESA) located in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Alaska Speech & Language Depot, Inc. offers the Early Language Fundamentals (ELF) program. ELF is created for speech & language delayed preschoolers between the ages of 3-5. This group treatment program uses a child centered approach for speech & language acquisition. New speech & language skills are reinforced through group activities, dramatic play and peer interaction.

Maintain and promote the program in public policy making; Make best use and account for public funds; Develop provider capacity to include people with Developmental Disabilities (DD) in their communities; Set and monitor standards for individualized community-based services; resolve disputes.

This program has been developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and utilizes principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to change behavior. ABA is backed by over 40 years of research and is still considered to be the most effective treatment for dealing with behaviors. I will strive to teach skills that foster independence in the people she serves. Together with family, schools, professionals and community members, we work as a team to provide the best quality of life for each individual.
