We provide academic advocacy services for children and adolescents.

Family Centered approach to assessment and treatment for children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, adoption and foster care, and young children with FTT. Evaluations and ongoing treatment as well as assistance with advocacy for children and adolescents with problems of learning and behavior including but not limited to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, including co-existing conditions of learning, behavior, anxiety, mood; children with pervasive developmental disorders including childhood autism, Aspergers Syndrome, Atypical Autism, Autistic Spectrum Disorders; children who are adopted nationally or internationally; children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Fragile-X and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and related disorders; and young children with feeding disorders and poor growth.

BISTA Autism Center uses state-of-the-art assessments and treatments to meet the needs of children, their families, schools, and communities.

The BISTA’s assessments and treatments are grounded in the principles of applied behavioral analysis (ABA). As such, consultants, therapists and tutors employ personalized ABA based programs, which address the diverse needs of our clients.

We use ABA technologies including discrete trial methodologies to address acquisition of imitation, language, self-help, and social skills. We specialize in comprehensive functional behavior assessment, including functional analyses, and treatment of varying degrees of problem behavior.

Dr. Nicholls is a pediatric/child neuropsychologist with over 25 years of experience in performing psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations for children from infancy through adulthood.

Psychological assessment (diagnostic) and treatment for very young children (one to seven), who are either on or at risk of being diagnosed on the autism spectrum. I use a variety of techniques, including relational (DIR) and behavioral. THis is not a cookie cutter approach - all aspects of the child's functioning are considered and addressed.

I provide diagnosis and treatment for young children with autism spectrum disorders (15 months to seven years). I also provide school consultation, behavioral support, and assist with marital and sibling issues realted to having a child int he family with an ASD.

I am a licensed psychologist in Arizona and member of the National Register. I have worked with children for almost 20 years. I have been a director of special education, school psychologist supervisor and school psychologist. I am also adjunct faculty at Northern Arizona University where I have taught graduate classes in psychological testing, research and eductional psychology. I am currently in private practice and director of psychological services for a school district. I am very experienced in evaluating all categories of disability in IDEA 97.

I am an educational consultant who specializes in autism and emotional/behavioral disorders. I am an Arizona certified special education teacher and school administrator. As a provider, I support children and families through various roles including consultant, therapist, teacher, and evaluator.

In addition to being a consultant, I am a university instructor and help teachers develop their skills to better support and work with students with autism spectrum disorders, behavior, and emotional/behavioral needs. I work with schools to help improve and develop educational programs as well as with families to develop habilitation programs.

I will use research based data driven techniques to assess your child's abilities, needs and strength's and as a team we will develop a plan to support your child's growth and development. With this plan we will create measureable goals we can use to define and track progress and continue on the path of learning and development.

I have been formally trained in Positive Behavioral Support, Discreet Trial Training, the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), and the TEACCH methodology.

As a consultant, services I can provide include functional behavioral assessments, behavioral plan development, and direct service provision/oversight to decrease problematic behaviors. Additional services include educational assessments, social skills training, school advocacy, school to home program development/support, training, behavior management, and academic interventions/support. Drs. Jason Baker and Amy Rose conduct psychological evaluations to assess for autism-spectrum disorders in children 2+ years old, as well as neuropsychological evaluations with children 3+ years old. We utilize the ADOS, considered to be the gold standard semi-structured observation systems, to assist in making this diagnosis. We also provide extensive recommendations and suggestions accommodations to improve the child's functioning.

RISE Autism Center serves children with social and communicative disabilities, including Asperger’s Disorder, high-functioning autism, and nonverbal learning disabilities. It offers a unique, individualized education with an emphasis on social skills in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.

Often overlooked are the persons with Asperger's, PDD-NOS, and undiagnosed Autism. RISE Autism Center offers a variety of high quality services and supports to meet the unique, complex and changing needs of individuals with autism and their families. We provide services for children from preschool to adult. We provide specialized programs, services and training that draw on state-of-the-art research and evidence based practice.

S.E.E.K Arizona is a human services agency that was founded in 2003, to provide services to developmentally disabled children in Arizona. We specialize in professional therapies and direct care services and are contracted with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and Mercy Care Plan.
