We offer full and half day programs, consult services and assessments for children ages 18 months to 18 years with Autism and related disorders. We also have a support group and trainings for parents. We assist in IEP preparation, program development and resource gathering.

Serving children and adults with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families from three counties (Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin), we provide individual advocacy and training. All local ARC chapters provide information and referrals to local resources. Their goal is to help people with disabilities and their families become knowledgeable about disabilities and the services and supports that are available. ASBC provides on-going community awareness, education and support by conducting a free lecture series and support group throughout the academic school year. Our Autism Faces & Voices program allows us to go into our community and conduct general awareness programs to educate society in general regarding Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as the needs and value the ASD population brings to our communities. ASBC also has a lending library of autism specific books for loan to our community to assist in their education. ASBC publishes a monthly e-Newsletter free of charge to its community that details events, legislative and general information on matters of concern to our community.

The Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning is a five-year project designed to strengthen the capacity of Head Start and child care programs to improve the social and emotional outcomes of young children. The Center will develop training and technical assistance (T/TA) materials that reflect evidence-based practices for promoting children's social and emotional development and preventing challenging behaviors. The Center will then work with professional organizations and Head Start and child care T/TA providers to ensure the use of the evidence-based practices in local demonstration sites.

The Colorado Institute of Autism is a newly established private organization dedicated to children on the autism spectrum. The institution will open its doors as the first school for children with autism, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis principles, in the State of Colorado. Our available services will include a school program, outreach, assessment, workshops, and service as a resource to the community.
