I'm a licensed respite care provider and have extensive training and knowledge with individuals with Autism. I have been teaching Special Education for 14 years and respite services for over 10. my home is certified with the state of Ct. and I'm available to provide short-term and long-term respite care.

The Monanto AT Center was originally developed for those on the Autism Spectrum. Other individuals who have disabilities and even those without can benefit from the pograms. There are 2 programs that are offered. This first is specialized software that would be cost prohibitive for families to own privately. It develps cognition, focus, and literacy skills. The second is a program that combines sensory intergration with state of the art technology to create a multi- sensory stimulation environment. Some of the technology was developed just for the Montano AT Center. The Goals are to empower and to expand learning skills of the participants. The age range is 18 months to 90 years! Available specialties are: speech/langauge pathology, augmentative/alternative communication, occupational therapy, physical therapy, musical therapy, and an nutritionist.

The River Street Autism Program provides intensive year round home-based services for children with autism between 2-5 years of age. Intervention is provided through one-on-one instruction using the principles of applied behavior analysis. The curriculum follows a developmental progression using discrete trial teaching with a strong emphasis on the generalization of skills to more natural learning environments.

Shades of learning is a full service agency located in Stamford, CT. We provide behaviorally-based intervention using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children on an individualized basis. Our staff of trained teachers and therapists are supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with regular consults from a BCBA Ph.D.

Wait Your Turn emphasizes parent training to address all child needs for communication, including attention, turn taking, nonverbal and verbal expression, initiation, and sensory processing. Focus is on structuring natural play routines as a means for communication and speech-language training. Location is 40 Dale Road, Suite 204, Avon CT with Farmington Valley Neuropsycholgoy Asociates. Music therapy groups also available. Services are ideal for language delays, ADHD, Aspergers/Autism Spectrum Disorders, Second Language Learners, and Social Anxiety. Peer matching and small groups are provided to generalize social skills outside of 1:1 treatment setting.

Individual, dyad and small group communication coaching is offered to teens for interviewing and public speaking skills, as well as for pragmatic language training/social skills.
