The Disabilities Law Program is a special project of Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. and is designated by the Governor as the Protection and Advocacy agency in Delaware. This program provides advocacy services to Delaware residents with physical or mental disabilities. Given limited resources, services are prioritized based on needs identified by consumer and community groups.

The Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative (DATI) connects Delawareans who have disabilities with the tools they need in order to learn, work, play and participate in community life safely and independently.

The mission of the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Planning Council is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities can enjoy the same quality of life as the rest of society. The Council will advocate for change and will educate communities to be responsive and sensitive to the needs, preferences, and choices of all people with developmental disabilities and their families, which will ensure and enhance their participation in life and society.

Formed in 2001, Lower DE Autism Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization serving individuals with autism in Sussex County, Delaware.

LDAF's mission is to provide quality programs and services, advocate for individuals with autism and promote community understanding and awareness of autism spectrum disorders. LDAF envisions that individuals with autism will have a lifetime of meaningful and enriching opportunities within their communities.
