The directo's thesis is entitled, "Autism: Reducting obsessive behaviors." The medical director, Dr. Eric Tridas, MD, is nationally known for his work with autism. The mission of PALS is provide financial assistance to the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities located at the University of Central Florida (UCF-CARD) to continue to provide state-of-the-art inclusive programs to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) , their family members, the community, and the professionals that support them, to optimize positive outcomes as they learn, play, work and live in Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Sumter, Lake, Volusia, Seminole, and Orange counties and pilot new programs for individuals with ASD.

PALS will strive for a collaborative effort by staff, family members, outside individuals and agencies.
