Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii (ATRC), is a statewide, non-profit committed to ensuring access to assistive technology (AT) for persons with disabilities. Formerly Hawaii Assistive Technology Training & Services (HATTS), ATRC changed its name to better reflect the growing importance of assistive technology in our communities and to further emphasize our organization's renewed commitment to providing resources for consumers and professionals to succeed with assistive technology.

We are a consortium of talented and experienced individuals in our field of Autism Consulting Services , who together are able to combine our talents and provide a momentum of success for the child and his or her family. Serving the autism consulting needs of those in NEED on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii and in the Coastal Virginia Beach and Norfolk Virginia regions. We provide ABA therapy using Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior

The Autism Society of Hawaii was re-established in 1992 as a chapter affiliate of the Autism Society of America. The Society is composed of family members, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, professionals and community agencies and organizations. The Autism Society of Hawaii is committed to educating service providers and the community about autism spectrum disorders, as well as advocating for and supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families. BCRC provides Applied Behavior Analysis and specialized learning services to children and adults with a wide range of disabilities. Services are provided in schools, residential settings, family homes and day programs.

We offer a social skills group that offers a structured, safe and enjoyable environment designed to explore and develop the many aspects of social success. It is called, "Friends' Club."

AUCD formerly UAP(University Affiliated Programs) are authorized by federal legislation to help States and local communities respond to the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families.(AUCDs) serve as a liaison between the academic world and the developmental disabilities service delivery system. AUCDs network with and provide assistance to State Agencies, their local affiliates, and to various nongovermental consumer-based organizations. Most AUCDs provide direct clinical, educational, and other services to individuals and families, or can assist families in finding services.

For 28 years, Discovery Toys has focused on learning through play, delivering countless products specifically designed to maximize learning moments across age groups and skill categories. The most effective learning environment for any child is one tailored to that child's specific needs at each stage of development. On our latest, most fulfilling and significant project, DT has interfaced with Patricia J. Krantz, Ph.D., who is Executive Director of the famous Princeton Child Development Institute, to articulate how to use DT's toys to deliver a rich, sensory and educational experience by understanding the most commonly shared learning difficulties and matching toys and activities to support tailored learning programs for children with Autism.

A support group for EFMP/Special Needs military family members and individuals. We have monthly meetings to discuss state and federal services, Dept of Education topics (IEPs, CBI, ESY...etc), and community activities for special needs children & adults with disabilities. A great resource for networking! 4th Tuesday of each month 630-830pm LINKS bldg(usually), Free child care available.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii (EFH) provides direct services to individuals with seizure disorders. It is estimated that over 18,000 Hawaii residents suffer from epilepsy and over 75,000 people are touched by it. For over 20 years the EFH has provided information and educational services to individuals and groups with questions pertaining to epilepsy.

The EFH is a private, nonprofit agency, whose mission is to increase public awareness of epilepsy and to build a sense of community, enabling persons with epilepsy to participate fully in the community at large.

Independent Living Centers are typically non-residential, private, non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based organizations providing services and advocacy by and for persons with all types of disabilities. Their goal is to assist individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential within their families and communities.

Hawaii branch of parent to parent organization.Parent to Parent programs provide emotional and informational support to families of children who have special needs most notably by matching parents seeking support with an experienced, trained 'Supporting Parent'.

Provides autism consultation and RDI programming for families.
