Role-play activities can substantially increase communication capabilities for individuals on the autism spectrum. Our goal is to use theatre techniques to enhance social skills in a fun and creative way.

Horseback Riding Programs; ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program provides benefits to individuals with disabilities through animal-assisted activities and outreach programs.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service offers diagnostic and developmental evaluations, which address social, emotional, learning, communication, behavioral, and school programming needs, for patients with Asperger’s Disorder through a multidisciplinary team approach.

I am a licensed psychologist with 25 years experience. I have evaluated and provided therapy for AS clients and their parents for many years.

Early ACCESS is a partnership between families with young children, birth to age three, and providers from the Departments of Education, Public Health, Human Services, the Child Health Specialty Clinics. The purpose of this program is for families and staff to work together in identifying, coordinating and providing needed services and resources that will help the family assist their infant or toddler to grow and develop.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Innovative Learning Professionals, LC, is a team of professionals combining experience and expertise to develop a unique learning center. I LEARN is a center designed to assess, remediate, counsel, and facilitate an individual's learning to explore his unique learning styles, using personal strengths to overcome individual limitations. The center addresses the needs not only of school-aged children but also those of adults. The programs at Innovative Learning focus on improving academic, perceptual, and cognitive skills through individualized programming to establish new foundations for learning. Facilitators employ kinesthetic, visual-spatial, and multi-sensory approaches designed to improve internal control, attention, focus, perceptual and information processing, learning efficiency, and academic skills. With a belief in learning "differences" rather than learning "disabilities," our program analyzes and uncovers the client’s personal learning style and incorporates intellectual and creative "strengths" to overcome "weaknesses." The possibilities for personal and academic growth are enormous!

Our mission is to assist each student in establishing effective learning through individualized assessment and individualized instruction using multi-sensory learning strategies (e.g., Davis Dyslexia Correction®, visual-spatial approaches to learning, educational kinesthetics, EEG biofeedback, cognitive rehabilitation, and accelerative learning). Using a comprehensive but individualized approach, combining innovative international techniques with traditional methods, we will enhance the confidence, self-control, and life success of each student. Our superior delivery of high quality services will increase each participant’s advanced thinking, memory, analyzation, problem-solving, and creativity skills to accelerate performance in all daily activities. We maintain that success is possible for everyone.

Social language groups for high functioning autism/Aspergers studetns grades Pre-K through 12. Tutoring all grades, all subjects one-on-one only.
