Parent's of children with Asperger's Syndrome (including PDD, High Functioning Autism and Related Disorders.) We live in Iowa City and many towns in the surrounding area. Our children range in age from preschool to adult.

The mission of the Autism Society of Iowa is to provide advocacy, support and information to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, their families, professionals, and communities throughout the state of Iowa.

Our mission is to assist the Quad Cities Community to develop and maintain the following: Promote lifelong access and opportunities for persons within the autism spectrum and their families, to be fully included, participating members of the greater Quad Cities Community through advocacy, public awareness, and education.

The mission of the Resource Center is to create, promote, and facilitate positive changes in the systems serving individuals with disabilities, those with other diverse needs, and the families of those individuals.

The Arc of East Central Iowa serves our community by providing advocacy and services, which help people with developmental disabilities and their families choose and realize their goals in life. We work to reduce the incidence of developmental disabilities through education and public awareness.

The Arc of Johnson County assists developmentally disabled individuals in our community to realize their full potential in how they live, learn, work and play.

The Homestead develops innovative solutions for people with autism, provides training and supports for people with autism and helps others understand autism and better solutions for people with autism through education and consultation.

Our mission is to promote excellence in services to Iowans with autism and their families through leadership and the support of staff development programs, innovative services, and school improvement. We’re committed to ensuring that all Iowans with autism have regional access to a continuum of service options that allows them to realize their potential. We strive to promote a quality of life for children and adults with autism and their families which sets the standard for the nation.
