A New Leaf is a family owned and operated center servicing families with both Academic and Developmental needs. Our Developmental Disabilities Agency provides Service Coordination, Developmental Therapy, and Intensive Behavioral Intervention. Educationally, we provide one-on-one Tutoring, Academic Therapy, Home school Support and Classes, Curriculum Planning, Social/Life Skills, and Workshops. In addition, we are available for Consultation and Advocating.

A New Leaf, is a family owned business of masters degree educators. Joy has a masters degree in special education, as well as a son with asperger's. She does academic therapy with kids one-on-one, as well as small group teaching as home school enhancement with special needs students of all ages. Other services include: tutoring 4-adult, educational workshops, special education advisement and advocating, and social skills activities. Whether you're a child with an ASD, or an adult returning to school needing additional instruction, we're here to support you and your needs.

Developmental Disability Agency

The Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho is a statewide not-for-profit organization, directed by volunteers and dedicated to helping all individuals in Idaho affected by epilepsy / seizure disorders. We will ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy, and research.

AUCD formerly UAP(University Affiliated Programs) are authorized by federal legislation to help States and local communities respond to the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families.(AUCDs) serve as a liaison between the academic world and the developmental disabilities service delivery system. AUCDs network with and provide assistance to State Agencies, their local affiliates, and to various non-governmental consumer-based organizations. Most AUCDs provide direct clinical, educational, and other services to individuals and families, or can assist families in finding services.

The Idaho Center for Autism is the only developmental disability agency in the Treasure Valley specializing in autism spectrum disorders. Each of our supervising therapists and program managers hold graduate degrees related to the treatment of ASD and have years of experience working with children on the spectrum.

Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc. is dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families. Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc.(IPUL) is a statewide organization which houses the Idaho Parent Training and Information Center, the Family to Family Health Information Center, and VSA arts of Idaho (Formerly Very Special Arts). IPUL’s activities are supported by funding from various state and federal agencies, by fund-raising events, and through parent memberships. Founded in 1985, IPUL is established as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in the state of Idaho.

The Joshua D Smith Foundation is a private development disabilities agency serving consumers 18 years and older with some summer programs offered to school age individuals.

The Foundation offers services in the home, community, and in our facilities. We seek to design programming curriculum to serve a broad spectrum of individual needs. The Foundation, in an effort to provide comprehensive life planning, coordinates services with other providers such as vocational rehabilitation, sheltered employment, school districts, targeted service coordination, and the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare.
