Since its inception in 2000, Access Point has been committed to providing state of the art treatment to children with behavioral, developmental, and emotional challenges. Access Point maintains a center for application and research in Applied Behavior Analysis designed to improve children's physical and mental health and well-being through adjustments in behavior and family interactions.

We will support the family by providing a QUALITY, OUTCOME ORIENTED program to help each person progress toward their own individual potential with the ultimate goal of allowing them to move out into society where "true" inclusion can occur.

Support Services.

AUCD formerly UAP(University Affiliated Programs) are authorized by federal legislation to help States and local communities respond to the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families.(AUCDs) serve as a liaison between the academic world and the developmental disabilities service delivery system. AUCDs network with and provide assistance to State Agencies, their local affiliates, and to various non-governmental consumer-based organizations. Most AUCDs provide direct clinical, educational, and other services to individuals and families, or can assist families in finding services.

The Idaho Center for Autism is the only developmental disability agency in the Treasure Valley specializing in autism spectrum disorders. Each of our supervising therapists and program managers hold graduate degrees related to the treatment of ASD and have years of experience working with children on the spectrum.

The Department of Health and Welfare is organized into Regions to provide programs that foster a productive, healthful and independent quality of life for Idaho citizens. Statewide administrative offices are located in Boise. Each Region serves several counties.

Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc. is dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families. In pursuance of this goal, Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc. will develop and support projects and activities that provide educational opportunities and disseminate information to individuals with disabilities, their families and other interested individuals with disabilities, By doing so, Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc. hopes to enhance and support efforts of these individuals and their families to improve their quality of life.

LIFE, Inc. provides rehabilitative and habilitative services and supports consistent with the identified needs of the individual and family system through a person-centered planning process. Our services and supports are aligned with the individual's right to receive necessary supports and services in the least restrictive environment, while promoting functional skill development in a variety of normalized settings, including residential-, center-, and community-based settings.

The Panhandle Autism Society (PAS) is a non-profit organization serving Idaho�s five northern counties. We are a chapter of the Autism Society of America and a United Way Agency of Kootenai County. A local, volunteer board of directors runs our organization. There are no fees to become a member of the Panhandle Autism Society. We have over one hundred members. We offer the following services:

Information and Referral � We are available by phone, e-mail or in person to answer questions about local, regional or national autism service or information.

Community Education � We host a web site that is updated quarterly with autism information and a list of local activities. This site also includes a listing of local activities with e-mail updates and a chat room for group members. PAS sponsor yearly workshops on various topics related to autism. These are advertised to group members and the public and offered at minimal cost. Finally, we regularly collaborated with local providers in order to increase the availability and expertise of local services.

Family and Individual Support � PAS has a monthly Asperger�s support group in Coeur d�Alene and Autism Support Groups in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry. Adults and parents of children with autism make up the majority of our board.

TESH is a private not-for-profit whose core purpose is to provide choices and opportunities to people of all ages seeking greater opportunities, self-sufficiency, and participation in their community.

We are a full service behavioral clinic specializing in working with children with Autism, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

We are a contracting provider with the State of Idaho, but also accept private insurance.

We contract with multiple Speech Therapists, as well as Occupational and Physical Therapists on site. We provide Intensive Behavioral Intervention, dvelopmental therapy, psychosocial rehab, counseling, service coordination,and partial care.

Our IBI program uses the Maurice curriculum as well as other resources.
