The HANDS in Autism program focuses on non-clinical, educational, and research services. General informational and traditional learning opportunities are available to develop community awareness and knowledge about the disorder. The distinct focus of the program is on providing hands-on learning opportunities for professionals as well as establishing coaching and mentoring relationships conducive to the building of local capacity in the application of the knowledge gained. The programs offered seek to address the various levels of learning appropriate to the variety of consumer needs and learning styles
