I have a strong passion for using applied behavior analysis in the field of education, especially in communication/verbal behavior, play, and social skills. I provide consultation services for young children and their families seeking early intensive behavioral intervention in Johnson County, eastern Douglas County, and northern Miami County in Kansas. I am willing to travel farther, depending on whether or not I have other clients in the area or close to the area I am requested (CURRENTLY, I am also available to work in the North Kansas City area).
I design and implement behavioral interventions for young children with developmental and behavioral disabilities; develop curriculum to train parents, tutors, paraprofessionals, implementers in methods and strategies of interventions as well as data collection; run team meetings and workshops related to specific needs of each child; Programs I design include but are not limited to: verbal communication, independence, social skills, self-help skills, leisure skills, academics. I also participate in developing Individualized Education Plans and have experience working with Educational Advocates
