The Bayou Chapter is a local chapter affliated with the Louisiana State Autism Chapter (LSAC). We provide a network of families who offer support and experience.

Autism Learning Center offers ABA and VB Therapy along with consultations, assessments, IEP advocacy, academic programs, summer programs, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Skills Training, Workshops and Parent Training.

We help families identify qualified professional and service providers in their community and assist them in securing benefits and services provided by law. Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Leslie C. Higgins, Psy.D. provides individualized assessment and treatment for youth with Asperger's Disorder. Emphasis is on the use of Collaborative Problem Solving. Dr. Higgins has advanced training and ongoing supervision in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach outlined in the book, The Explosive Child, by Ross Greene,Ph.D. and Stuart Ablon, Ph.D. Extensive experience and training in ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders benefits the particularly challenging patient.

The McNeese Autism Program is a university-based clinic providing behavioral intervention services for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental delays. The clinic also serves as a training site for students pursuing a Master's Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Pediatric physical therapy clinic providing services to birth to age 21. Our passion is to provide our children with the best quality care possible. We join hand in hand with physicians, families, and caregivers so as to ensure the best possible outcome. Our center provides pediatric Occupational and Speech Therapy, along with Mental Health Counseling for all ages and areas of need. We also have inhouse an educational tutor and certified massage therapist. We would embrace the opportunity to serve you and your family.

This assistance helps parents participate more effectively with professionals in meeting the educational needs of children and youth with disabilities. Pediatric occupational therapy, specializing in treating autism spectrum disorders. Center based therapy. Also provide physical, speech & language therapy services as well as mental health counseling and family therapy and educational tutoring. See website for details.

The Center for Therapy provides pediatric Occupational, Physical, and Speech/Language Therapy services as well as educational tutoring and counseling services. Our therapists specialize in treating children and adolescents with ASD, including sensory integration treatment, relationship intervention, fine and gross motor development, and communication. Our services include support groups, community education forums, and events to promote autism awareness such as our annual Discover the Piece 5K Run each April.

The St. Nicholas Center is a non-profit organization which offers educational and ABA therapeutic services to children with autism and other developmental delays. At the Saint Nicholas Center, we provide one on one instruction to help children learn skills in the areas of language, fine motor, gross motor, social, and instruction following using positive reinforcement.
