A non-profit organization, AE was founded in 1978 to address the environmental issues that confront people with disabilities and elderly people. Adaptive Environments promotes accessibility as well as universal design through education programs, technical assistance, training, consulting, publications and design advocacy. Its mission is to promote, facilitate, and advocate for international adoption of policies and designs that enable every individual, regardless of disability or age, to participate fully in all aspects of society.

Adventures Outside the Box's mission is to provide structured, goal-oriented learning opportunities for adolescents with Asperger Syndrome and related disorders. Our adventure programming offers unique opportunities to expand social thinking, self awareness and life skills through direct instruction and supportive practice in the community, both local and beyond. We believe that life is inherently unpredictable. Learning to expect the unexpected is a critical life skill, and managing novel experiences, while challenging for some, can be gratifying. We hope to teach our students that getting "Outside the Box" can be a rewarding Adventure.

Autism Services Association (ASA) is a private non-profit human service agency which provides community employment services, supported employment and other clinical supports to young adults and adults with autism and other challenging developmental disabilities. ASA was established in 1963 by a group of concerned parents, citizens, and community leaders to serve the needs of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in Central and Eastern Massachusetts.

ASC provides information & referral, parent and sibling support groups, parent and professional training, lending library, quarterly newsletter and monthly e-bulletin, social skills program in NOrtheastern MA.

Baystate Pediatric Neurology — A Baystate Children's Hospital Practice offers a wide range of neurological services for children. Our board certified specialists, who are also on the faculty of the Baystate Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine Western Campus, provide assessment and care for children based on the results of EEG and other lab testing. They have access to all the facilities of Baystate Medical Center.

Boston Families for Autism, Inc. (BFA) strives to provide quality services for families who have children with autism. We are a resource and referral organization comprised of Boston area parents with autistic children.

Our goal is to provide local support services in the community which include support groups, mentorships, recreational activities, training and information on various services in the Boston area.

BFA's focus is primarily on inner-city families who are looking for services for their children.

Inclusion and empowerment are key as BFA strives to educate families and the community about autism.

Children Making Strides is an organization that was begun by the mother of an autistic child. In her efforts to help her child she discovered that there was a tremendous need for services and information for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and their parents. At Children Making Strides we believe that there is hope for all of our children, and that each child deserves the opportunity to reach his or her full potential, and that potential should have no limits. We also believe that parents need support, information, and encouragement in their efforts to help their child. Our parent support programs provide resources from which they can exchange ideas, get information and provide support to each other. Through our parent support groups, training seminars and mentoring program there is always a place that a parent can find help and encouragement.

Haircuts

Walton Educational Consulting provides Applied Behavior Analysis consultation to assist Public Schools and parents develop successful programs for students living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Services delivered include direct school and home consultation, program design, curriculum assessment and design, staff training and development and strategic program assessment and planning systems. Clients served include Public Schools serving young elementary students with Autism and families providing in home programming (ages 2 – 6 years old).
