Although Abilities Network has been providing services to children with autism and their families for years through our Project ACT, Family Support Services, and Community & Employment Partners programs, our new Autism Waiver services specifically address the challenges faced by children with autism and their families. The specific areas addressed under Abilities Network�s new Autism Waiver services include Intensive Individual Support Services, and Family Training. Within these categories, families have access to the sort of hands-on services needed to allow their children to achieve at their maximum level in all areas of their lives. Autism centered trainings and services for a child and their family may focus specifically on behavior shaping and management, daily living skills, socialization, mobility, and self-direction.

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1987 in response to the frustration and sense of isolation experienced by parents and their children with AD/HD.

Many individuals and families dealing with AD/HD turn to CHADD, the national organization representing individuals with AD/HD, for education, advocacy and support.
