Autism Salisbury support group offers support, IEP Assistance, Trainings and Conferences.

The Autism Consultation and Treatment Center provides home-based and center-based treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Services are designed and supervised by behavior consultants with extensive experience in the treatment of Autism and related disorders.

For families in Maryland with an Autistic or Autistic Spectrum disorder member, and the professionals who work with autistic children.

The list was created to encourage exchange of information between parents and professionals working with children with autism, Autism Spectrum disorders, including Pervasive Development disorder, Sensory Integration Dysfunction and Aspbergers Syndrome. Ideas, concerns, support, resources, difficulties, strategies are discussed. Together we can accomplish what alone we could not.

ASA is dedicated to increasing public awareness about autism and the day-to-day issues faced by individuals with autism, their families and the professionals with whom they interact. The Society and its chapters share a common mission of providing information and education, supporting research and advocating for programs and services for the autism population.

We are a support group for parents, professionals, or other people whose lives have been touched by someone diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The purpose of this support group is to bring parents of children with autism in the Fort Washington, MD area closer to together for support and advice in raising their children on the spectrum.

Monthly support group meetings, play groups and special outings are anticipated goals for this support group.

Topics of discussion include but are not limited to educational services, medical services, nutritional therapies, special diets, chelation, homeopathic therapies, speech and language services, OT, PT, sensory integration, ABA, VBA, RDI, Floortime -- virtually any topics that are worth inquiring about regarding the support and recovery of our ASD children.

Baltimore Health Care Access offers health care information and advocacy services. Although the organization primarily serves Baltimore City residents, information services are available to all Maryland residents. BHCA offers a series of wonderful publications focused on children with disabilities and special health care needs.

CARE REHAB specializes in occupational, physical and speech-language therapy for children and young adults with mild, moderate, and severe impairments in addition to aquatic therapy, counseling and tutoring. In addition, CARE offers assessments in educational, psychological and functional skill areas. CARE maintains a staff of highly diversified licensed health care professionals � many with specialized certification in areas such as sensory integration and neurodevelopmental treatment. Referrals are welcomed from parents, physicians, lawyers, and agency staff. Private insurance plans and other medical payment types are accepted.

Center for Social Change (CSC) is a nonprofit organization that provides residential and supported employment services to children and adults with development disabilities in the community. CSC is a strong advocate of personal choices for individuals who are developmentally, physically, psychologically and emotionally challenged. It has been serving the mentally and physically disadvantaged individuals in Maryland (USA) for the past 10 years.

The mission of Channel Marker, Inc. is to provide prevention and support services to individuals, their families and the community to maximize the mental health potential of all including community based rehabilitation services for youth (family, school and community support as well as after-school and summer programming).
