The Abilities Center is the largest provider of children's therapy in the Metropolitan Detroit area. We provide autism services in a collaborative environment with other autism professionals. The main mission of Autism ASK is to provide Advocacy, Support and Knowledge to individuals with ASD, their families, and the community.

We are an organization that provides social skill training, therapy services and family workshops for those with autism and Aspergers across Michigan.

Autism Asperger Associates of Michigan is a comprehensive organization that is designed to support children, adolescents and adults with autism and Asperger Syndrome. Our goal is to work with individuals and families to create quality of life for today and tomorrow, through education, understanding and support in their goals.

Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals with autistic spectrum disorders and their families through the education of current and future leaders in the field, research that enhances the understanding of causation, intervention, prevention, and course, and provision of clinical services to individuals, families and the community.

The Hands-On Parent Education (HOPE) Center offers both center-based and less-intensive behavioral therapy for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. We also provide behavioral therapy for families of children who have difficulties with behavior management, feeding, toileting, sleeping, and other referral concerns. The HOPE Center is part of Beaumont's Center for Human Development, and as such has access to psychiatry services and a multidisciplinary diagnostic team. The HOPE Center also offers parent support programming and educational lectures.

The Beekman Therapeutic Riding Center (BTRC) is proudly recognized as a total community family center, where all can come to have a fun and safe learning experience with horses! Though we are recognized as a therapeutic riding center, our program also offers excellent services for children and adults without disabilities as well. Program staff consist of 5 registered level North American Riding for the Handicapped (NARHA) riding instructors, 1 second level certified driving instructor and 1 certified counselor.

Behavioral Building Blocks provides behavioral intervention services designed to improve your child's communication, functional, and social skills. The training methods employed by Behavioral Building Blocks are based on scientifically proven principles of behavior.

When working with Behavioral Building Blocks your child will receive an individualized assessment and treatment plan to target your child's specific needs. In addition to this we will supply you and your child's treatment team with the appropriate training and supervision necessary to implement the treatment.

Currently provide Behavior Instructional Therapy for in-home ABA and VB programs in Windsor as well as academic tutoring for children with autism. Over 7 years of experience working with children with autism.

Children and Horses United in Movement or C.H.U. M. Therapeutic Riding Inc. brings to the mid-Michigan area both the old and the new. A new program with old friends. Our name was designed to honor a faithful equine friend who has been in service to therapeutic riding since 1980. Chum, Bonnie DePue’s friend and companion for over 30 years has introduced many a child and adult to the world of horses and the gifts these magnificent animals offer.

CASD is a multi-disciplinary center servicing children with autism spectrum disorders ages 18 months to 18 years of age. Services include autism diagnostics, speech-language, occupational, nutritional, and vision therapies; as well as social skills groups, camp programs, and parent support groups. Programs utilizing both ABA and DIR/Floortime principles are offered.

In Home Support Services Available In and Around Michigan
Having a Certified Child Facilitator work with your child in their own playroom is a great way for you to see the techniques and principles of Son-Rise practiced in your own home. As a Certified Child Facilitator I can work with your child in your playroom while being observed, and/or videotaped, which is a great tool for future reference. I can do a Question and Answer session regarding my time in the playroom, and help with brainstorming games and themes for your team to bring into the playroom!

One of the main principles of the Son-Rise Program is the idea that the key to learning is your child’s motivation With you on the phone I will help you to think of games and themes for your team to bring into the playroom based on your child’s current challenges and motivations. It’s a great way to learn how to challenge your child and optimize learning in a way that is fun and exciting for them as well as for you!
